I’ve heard the .58 springfield hits with about 1,200 foot pounds of force, while the .50 BMG is about 12,000!
I assume the BGS’s bullet is slightly heavier, and fired at about 2800 f.p.s., where as the springfiels is 1500 f.p.s.!
But I still fail to see how this makes it 10 times more powerful!
From a scientific standpoint you would think it’d just be 2 or 3 times more powerful! Anyone know why? Thanks!

Ok, now that I know a little bit more, i have a few more questions. Mine has the normal barrel, no place for a magazine, and a black **** cap. As far as I can tell, it looks identical to the modern BDL but without a floor plate. So i still don’t know if it is a BDL or an ADL, or what the difference between those is. There is no hex to adjust or anything in the manual, also tried tapping , it movet but not much. And I had to hit it hard and **** to do that.
